Katia
Gousset advises in the areas of customs and international trade.
Ms. Katia
Gousset assists clients with reconciliation, drawback, penalties
and forfeitures, tariff classification, NAFTA, country of origin
marking, valuation of imports, visa and quota restrictions, binding
rulings, post entry refunds, audits, protests, corporate compliance
programs and training.
Ms. Katia
Gousset was formerly the Customs Compliance Coordinator for a large
Customs House Brokerage where she assisted clients with preparation
of cost submissions and filing complex reconciliation entries.
In addition, she helped importers with customs disputes and compliance
improvements. Prior to that, she worked for a manufacturer/importer
where she coordinated international logistics and conducted training
for factories overseas in customs compliance.
Ms. Katia
Gousset received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration
and Languages (French and Spanish) from the University of California
at Riverside.
She is
a licensed Customs Broker. She is fluent in French and Spanish.
